Israel’s latest plans are very disturbing. They involve the creation of a concentration camp, guarded by the IDF, where “hamas operatives” would be “screened” out and Palestinians, once coralled, wouldn’t be allowed to leave except for “voluntary” migration. They call this a “humantarian city”, just like the killing fields designed inadequacy GHF scheme was “humantarian aid”. This is clearly and openly by every definition, aim and intent an ethnic cleansing concentration camp meant only to further dehumanize, torture and kill the remaining population of Gaza. Just as blocking UN and other international aid and the establishment of the GHF was a killing scheme and still is.
Also, Israel’s announcing this week they will be proceeding with the building of this “enclosed humanitarian city” during the proposed ceasefire shows they have zero plans to stop their 100% expulsion and killing plan or ever leaving Gaza. This plan means the reoccupation of Gaza, which stands now at 85%, will be permanant as will the ethnic cleansing, and the choice given to Palestinians of extreme suffering and slow death by starvation and illness or leaving everything and everyone and live. Hardly a humanitarian choice.
And meanwhile our leaders will continue to speak of a peaceful two state solution, and an end to the occupation while Netanyahu, his government, and the US blithely carry on with their complete ethnic cleansing plan. Its like they are living on 2 seperate planes of realities and Palestinians and anyone who cares about them are caught in some hellscape in the middle that just keeps getting worse.
This latest plan however is, obviously, far too much for humanity to tolerate. It must be. Enough is enough and its 22 months past the point of enough. This humanitarian crime must be acted upon and stopped. There is a crucial need for a ceasefire ensuring, peace keeping troops in Gaza and the West Bank during and after the ceasefire. This forced internment and the GHF aid scheme must be stopped. Full aid must be resumed and its delivery protected. The bully, terrorist, war mongering, Nazi state of Israel must be sanctioned, boycotted, isolated and its terrorism, occupation, power over the lives and liberty of Palestinians in anyway ended. Palestinians and Palestine must be free and have peace and justice, an official recognized state and a fair border and peace deal asap.
We can’t as a world just sit by and allow this Holocaust to continue and conclude. This is not a normal event, just like Israel behind all it’s lies and whitewashing, is not a normal state. No other land and people has been erased in modern times. Even the Indigenous people of North America still exist on their terroritory and with ownership of their historical tribal and historical lands more or less. This desire for complete erasure is a new milestone in evil humanity and humanity’s failure: a successful Nazi program, and something that will be humanity’s eternal shame as we can’t say we didn’t know, or we couldn’t care or act.
For years, people including many Jews, have been comparing Israel to a Nazi state. When the killing and cruelty is over in Gaza, I hope all those who cried anti semitism over every such analogy, and who’s job in life is shutting western media and people’s eyes, minds and ears to the condemned truth and reality of Palestinian lives and deaths, will have the good grace to admit that these critics of Israel were right. This is a Nazi plan and has been from the start. And then the world will hopefully realize what it called hate and threat and harm as Palestinians were being bombed, burned alive, shot by real hate, harm, and threat, wasn’t anti semitism. It was just a sense of duty to justice and decency. It was just care, concern and love. Love for Palestinians, Palestine, and the ideal of justice, freedom, equality and decency, of never again to genocide. That it wasn’t anti semetics, terrorists and terror supporters marching, sitting in and speaking up, it was just good, normal people trying to save lives and end a genocide.
Maybe then the world will feel the shame that Israel refuses to, and weep the same tears that fall with every bomb, every burnt and broken body and every bullet. Maybe this time they will realize never again means never again for all and ensure that we will never again be forced to witness the insane spectacle of cruelty, injustice, death, depravity and pointless distopia that is genocide. And maybe then justice, peace and freedom will truly come.
For Palestine, for Palestinians and for all those who stand with them and the values that demand and command us to care.
