It is sad to me that Jewish people have made the lies and hate towards them true. And that is exactly what their continued support of zionism, and Israel has done. Because zionism and Israel do threaten the safety and security or the world and the entire civilized modern democratic progressive liberal world order. They make Judism a seeming threat to our western world order just as Nazis have long warned us about. The west has firmly rejected this hated based premise, but even to non Nazis, the coldness, cruelty, heartlessness and blood thirsty calls for revenge on an innocent powerless foe, even as the stats, images and horror stories from Gaza, the West Bank emerged, was every stereotype of the merciless Shylock Jew who cares only for his own kind come to life. And the now well covered state sanctioned, and ordered, brutal, sick, daily killings and violence and terrorism in Gaza and West Bank, the false cosplay narrative of there being a war, an enemy combantant, a threat from Palestine and Palestinians, all to covertly allow, make justified the systemic abuse, torture and killing of the people to steal all the land of their peaceful neighbours, unavoidably brings to mind the stereotupe of the greedy, scheming, sneaky, conniving, cheating, thieving Jew even in minds who were raised to and fought these charactoristics all their lives.
I stood by Israel for years because I stand against anti semtism and Nazism and always will and was told standing with Israel was doing that. But I was told lies, kept completely in the dark by zionists and nmainstream even leftist media I trusted. I’m happy I now know the truth, and am not party to the complicity and upholding of the deceitful Israeli narrative. I am just sad I didn’t know the truth decades ago. And I won’t stand up against anti semetism anymore when Jews are actively genociding and inflicting war, demonization and deceit narratives, persecution, genocide, apartheid, Jim Crow on Palestinians, their neighbours and the western world. And for decades without cease and without mercy.
Honestly, neo Nazis and antisemetics globally should be celebrating zionism’s hold on Jews and the west as Jews hasten their own demise in the minds of humanity, as the more pain Israel inflicts, the louder and more unjustifiable their silence, support and monetary and political safeguarding of Israel appears. It is becoming increasingly unpleasant to share space with zionist Jews, ie mainstream Jews and their culture. Jews are becoming increasingly unwelcome everywhere as well. This isn’t normal, but it isn’t anti semetism and is just, moral human nature. The Germans and Japanese were hated for their warring and atrocities, and now its the Jews. And denying this, and finding comfort in Israel’s comforting lies that the world is just waiting to exterminate all the Jews, just shows how far from sense, reality and reason Israel and zionism are and demands.
Antisemetism persists and has persisted because Jews were always too silent, oppressed and insular to be anything other that an outsider and silent suffering presence. But the world did eventually stand up for them and they no longer have to fear systemic or state sanctioned hatred. Now they have an opportunity to end anti semitism is ways more powerful than any that the non Jewish world of allies can. They can find their moral core and collective backbone, and speak up, against Israel and stand with the Palestinian people. They could stand with the truth and put an end to the occupation, genocide sustaining lies.
They can speak the truth to lies, here in the west and in Israel if they know it. Research the true and full story about it if they don’t. Demand as a Jewish majority, individually and collectively, an end to the illegal occupation, this genocide and all further aggressive, persecution by the Israeli state. Openly give to support Palestinians now and in the future to aid their rebuilding. Openly speak out about the rabid racism, deceit narrative that has fueled the past 77+ years of this Holocaust and pogrom land and legitimacy theft scheme. In other words live by the rules and tenents of any other people of faith, and by international laws and the morals, mores, ethics and decency values of the modern, civilized world.
Our enemies thrive when we perish and there are many ways to die. As a collective, it is to embrace all the lies and steroetypes your enemies use against you. Become the evil and earn your peace with your enemy by killing your own soul and true peace and security. You can choose this easy route, one that celebrates only your victimhood, or you can fight back by fighting the hate by proving the opposite. Now would be the perfect time to do so, and would take a real bite out of anti semetism, by proving its lies to be false. And it’s time for Jewish people to do this. Because honestly, for many like me who used to stand up against antisemetism, standing up against it now feels like being a defense lawyer who’s client is openly reoffending on a daily basis and openly celebrates their offenses. At some point no defense can clear you and its up to the client, if innocent to start proving it. Jews need to prove they are like us, are moral, and stand for what we stand for, And believe me, standing with Israel is not it.
Maybe this is the perfect time to end anti semitism. And end it not by constantly holding up the Holocaust as a shield and proof of your innocence, and need, but by instead choosing not to live in the cozy trauma and real trauma and fear induced by it and exploited fully, civically and instutionally by Israel. End it by trusting in your safety, priveledge, and by not standing with Nazi terrorist state Israel just because it sells you a comforting Noah’s Ark for the Jews bedtime story. By refusing to stay ignorant, clueless and supportive of the lies of Israel, which is fuelling hatred against Jews and acknowledge that the risen hate is 100% fuelled by the “bad Jew” practises of Israel and its society, army and government.
Because while I remain against anti semitism, stand with and deeply like and respect anti zionist Jews, I am unable to stand with any people who are responsible for the continuation of the Israel lie narrative, and the genocide and rasist genocidal occupation and pogrom it hides and supports. I can’t stand with far right conservatism for Israel sake, or the harrassment, firing, school suspensions, hating, arrests, deportations and serious abuse and gas lighting of those in our free society who care and speak up against these atrocities. This attack on our western democratic principles is not okay, is a breach of trust and unity, and the same holds true for Jews and for non Jews.
It is not antisemetic to say all of this, Israel, zionism and it’s power and popularity, is the fault of the global Jewish majority. That the Jewish people have chosen fear over fact, and hate and it’s lies over love, peace and truth. It is not anti semetic to blame the Jews for Israel and its practises. To accuse them of putting Israel before the needs and culture of their homelands. It is definitely not anti semetic to refuse to stand with the neo Nazis, racists and far right facists, and politicians just because they “love” and support Israel. . Is this the security, peace, pride and progress you want for your people, your children and your legacy? To be the bad Jews, the Shylock of Nazi imagining or do you want to be the Portia, arguing for just mercy and understanding as the right and moral answer to a transgression or fear? To live in the denial of their guilt, the true history of zionism, Israel and continue to collectively punish Palestinians for it, or admit it, acknowledge it and collectively put an end to it. This is the choice Jews need to make and for me, who has studied and personally dealt with both generational and personal trauma, and the rest of the world, the right and moral choice seems pretty simple, vitally important and very easy to make. And it really is.
