(Trigger alert: This blog talks about white culture and may be offensive to those who are offended by critism of white, conservative culture.)
Racist white people love focusing on the wrong doings of other races and ignoring their own, but to be honest, no group has done more wide scale destruction of wildlife and nature, and made the war of wildlife and nature the status quo and norm than white, conservative, western culture. They gleefully continue with their hunting, fishing, trapping, greed and sanctify it all as masculinity and the (white, male) American way while the wildlife they prey upon, loses, suffers and dies.
The problem, of course, isn’t just white culture. Equally bad are the bullfights, and bull and hunting dog torture in Spain, and bullfights, extincting of marine life and poaching of sealife in Mexico, the “harvesting” of the planet’s endangered wildlife and their body parts for sale in China and parts of Asia. Also, cruel migratory bird poaching in Malta, fox hunting in the UK, and the barbarity of animal agriculture everywhere. Its all bad but its all empowered these days by the western white culture war on wildlife and the values and policy that protect them.
It is also, all about machismo and closely tied to the rise in far right conservative politics, terrorism and criminal organizations, the latter two who are largely financed by wildlife trafficking and crimes.
Love, care, kindness, science, intelligence, civilized society, law and order, and compassion are out, criminilized in their world as are Liberal/leftist progressive policy and politics that loves and seeks to protect nature and all animals. Its all connected and empowered by the cowardly, greedy, corrupt politicans on both sides who support and set anti nature and wildlife laws.
The Culture of Killing
This is conservative white culture. It’s deplorable and it’s destroying the planet, and killing, harming and exploiting wildlife and all animals. Their hatred of wildlife, nature and war on it has a zeal that is only matched by their zeal for racism and for hating peaceful, progressive, intelligent and fact/science/morality based politics and policy.
The harm is vast, and great in numbers, but the culture behind it is sanctified by their whiteness, so all focus remains on China while the white west continues their rape, pillage, and killing spree across all wildlands, waters and upon all wildlife, urban, rural and endangered. Racism upholds these practises as traditional and western, and protects them from the kind of widespread criticism and vilification that forces policy change.
The lying, deceit and dishonesty is another hallmark of the conservative backed hunter/angler/animal agriculture reign of destruction. According to them, hunting is conservation, culls are necessary and ethical, animal agriculture is healthy, necessary, humane and good for the planet. Another lie is that zoos and aquariums are about education, conservation, when they’re really businesses and only or mostly breed animals to sell to other zoos. Real education doesn’t need to exploit animals to teach, and zoos don’t teach what humans need to learn about animals and our responsibility, relation to them. They teach the opposite in fact.
The white conservative culture of today lies, steals land, kill with impunity and mock and even kill vegans, animal rights activist who are just living by humanity’s values, laws, and standards. They santify the most barren and miderable of roadside zoos, elephant rides and other forms of egregious animal abuse as their right and priveledge. All for greed and to cause grief, loss, anger to the “snowflake” nature and wildlife, animal lovers, and to maintain a racist, misogenist, sin and hate based status quo.
This needs to change. For wildlife, all animals and for all humanity who are equally hurt by this bottom feeding, supporting status quo. The anti nature, anti law and order one, and the one fully supported by and supportive of criminals, criminal organizations and terrorists.
Changing our Culture for Nature
Our civilized world, western world is breaking down, and the inhumane treatment of wildlife, animals, nature is core to this breakdown. The take what you can from those who can’t object ethics, so core in white history of injustices and atrocities, is in full action again these days. And also core is white conservative pride, wrath, criminality, perversion, class resentment and ignorance. Their values are the ones we fight against everyday as activists, Liberals and even just good, caring and concerned citizens.
This war on the powerless and taking what they have, is also the heart of colonialism and racism against humans. Its the white man or women raping the cow, stealing her baby and its milk and selling it as a wholesome (white) products and targetting the poor and POC who are largely allergic to it.
We live in a world where you can criticize or say anything about any race except white people, and a world ruled by conservatives trying to roll back freedoms, safety, gains of all people, races, women and all of nature. And no one’s truly fighting back, whether out of respect, of fear and probably despair. This needs to change. For humanity’s sake, for animal and nature’s sake, and for goodness sake.
The revolution we need
No one wins in a racist, hateful, ignorant, world at war with and plundering and destroying the natural world with no regard for the facts, for truth, for decency, compassion and for science. We will all suffer and lose. We need a revolution and thankfully the one needed is peaceful, positive, beneficial, easy and everyone can join in.
The Revolution
1.Vote for politicans, leaders who are truly green and for nature, animals and wildlife politicians. Vote against the opposite always.
2. Go vegan. If not completely at first, go as vegan as possible, and progressively. Try it, keep trying it and commit to it.
3. Go green, low waste. Reduce, reuse, recycle. Buy, drive, travel green.
4. Speak out against and say no to the sickness, stupidity and savagery of anti wildlife, anti animal rights and anti nature trolls, benefactors, industry, pundits, media and politicians.
It is our world, our future and humanity existence, soul and heart they are destroying, and we can save it all by saving nature and wildlife. We just need to have the courage, compassion and charactor, to do so and to make this goal and it’s values cool, great and normal again.
